At Oliver’s apartment, he and Lois start making out but she announces she has a surprise and steps into the next room for a minute. Oliver hears a car alarm and looks down to see two muggers attacking a couple. Oliver dons his Green Arrow costume and weaponry and attacks the two men. He takes down one but the other one gets in the couple’s car and tries to escape. Green Arrow shoots into the steering wheel.

Up above, Lois returns to find Oliver gone and wonders where he disappeared. Down below, he leaves the man in the car but the other man revives and shoots him in the chest.

Martha and Clark return home where Martha wants to celebrate Thanksgiving but Clark isn’t too enthused or thankful over the fact he has powers. Lois arrives to talk about how Oliver disappeared on her. She also reveals they have a report of Green Arrow being shot.

At the manor, Lana talks to Lex about getting involved in a LuthorCorp-sponsored halfway house for criminals but Lex tries to protect her and keep her out of it. Lana isn’t happy about Lex’s effort to protect her.

Clark confronts Oliver at his apartment but Oliver is exercising and unwounded, and denies that anything happens. Clark notices Oliver’s Green Arrow gear is out on a chair and accuses him of getting sloppy. In return Oliver complains he’s not doing anything about the current crime wave and tells him to get out. Oliver quickly becomes more angry and crushes a glass in his hand, but doesn’t seem to notice the pain. After Clark leave, Oliver takes an injection as Clark watches him with x-ray vision. After completing the injection, Oliver looks at his hand… which is now completely healed.

Clark goes to Lois’ apartment and finds that Oliver has sent her a bunch of flowers, but Lois is unimpressed. Clark warns her that Oliver is doing drugs and Lois concedes that might explain his disappearances. Lois refuses to abandon him and goes to see him.

Oliver confronts a Queen Industries employee, Dr. Pamela Black, who provided him with the drug, RL-65, and works for him. The doctor notes the test mice have been exhibiting violent tendencies and tells him to stop using the drugs, but he refuses and takes more of the drug.

Lionel visits Martha to tell her he won’t be coming for her Thanksgiving dinner. She insists he be there and he is clearly touched, and they almost kiss. Shocked, he apologizes and leaves.

Clark breaks into Oliver’s apartment, steals the syringe, and gives it to Chloe to run an analysis. She also notes they can’t confirm if Green Arrow was shot. Chloe then notices Lana coming in for a lunch date with her and tries to hustle Clark out without success, and an awkward moment ensues. After Clark leaves, Lana asks Chloe to check out the halfway house and she agrees… and then Lana collapses.

That night, Oliver dresses as Green Arrow and reviews footage he took of the carjacker who shot him. Lois arrives as he dons his full costume, and she takes him for a thief and belts him over the head. He shrugs off the blow and in a burst of rage shoves her through a glass table. Badly injured, she calls 911 as he flees.

Lana visits a doctor and describes how she’s been having constant headaches. Martha goes to see Lionel at his office and says that she values their relationship and wants him to be there for Thanksgiving.

Clark visits Lois at the hospital and she tells of how she caught Green Arrow robbing Oliver, and she can’t get hold of her boyfriend. Elsewhere in Metropolis, Green Arrow finds the carjacker who shot him and prepares to shoot him, but the man leaps off a ledge for a 50’ fall… and gets up from it. Green Arrow confronts him and demands answers, and the carjacker reveals that a female doctor comes to the halfway house where he’s at and gives them injections.

Lex confronts Dr. Black, who is trying to destroy the remaining RL-65 because people are now getting hurt, eevn though Lex has been financing her generously. Black wants out but Lex warns her that he can’t let her do that.

Chloe tells Clark about the drug, which causes rapid heating but also triggers the amygdale in the brain. She determines Dr. Black is the only one doing the research and she’s working with Queen Industries. They go to the laboratory and find it torn up and Black dead. Chloe finds a green arrow but Clark finds a secret folder with information on the halfway house that Lex is financing. They figure out that Lex was financing Black’s recent research and that he’ll be Green Arrow’s next target.

At the manor, Clark barges in to locate Lex and finds Lana brooding. Clark notices something is wrong and offers her a sympathetic ear, but Lana tells him it has nothing to do with him and asks him to go. He reluctantly leaves.

Lex is leaving his building with a security guard, who Green Arrow shoots down with an electric arrow. He takes Lex back to his office and demands that he sign a paper to turn his money over to all of the Metropolis charities. Green Arrow reveals he knows that Lex is involved at the halfway house and Black is dead. Lex fakes the pen being empty and goes for a gun, and they have a brief standoff until they both shoot and hit each other.

Oliver injects himself with a dose of the RL-65 as Clark arrives. Oliver is out of control, insisting Lex should die, and Clark finds Lex’s briefcase with the drug. He gives Lex the injection, shoving aside Oliver to do it. After a few tense moments, Lex revives and finds himself alone with a bloody shirt, an arrow, and no one in the room.

Later at Oliver’s apartment, Clark visits and the millionaire reveals he’s come to his senses, and explains that he was trying to emulate Clark’s invulnerability. Clark admits Oliver does a lot of good and invites him to their Thanksgiving dinner. Oliver refuses because Lois will be there but Clark insists he come and says that if Lois and Oliver are meant to be together, he won’t stand in the way.

Lana comes to visit Chloe at the reporter’s apartment and reveals that she is pregnant.

At the Kent farm, Lois shows Clark her new pie. Chloe arrives and reveals that Black was killed by one of the kids at the halfway house. Chloe keeps Lana’s secret while Oliver arrives and apologizes to Lois. Lois accepts his apology and after Lionel arrives they sit down to dinner and Clark asks them all to follow the family tradition of each person saying what they’re most thankful for. Clark is thankful for his mom and dad. Jimmy sends a text message to Chloe saying he misses her, and Lois & Oliver, and Martha & Lionel, are clearly happy together. At the manor, Lex and Lana are sitting down to Thanksgiving dinner but while Lana says everything is fine, she doesn’t mention the pregnancy.
