Benjamin "C-note" Franklin - Rockmond Dunbar

Rockmond Dunbar entered the Theater Program at Georgia’s Morehouse College, and later transferred to the College of Santa Fe in New Mexico to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
By the time Dunbar arrived in Los Angeles in 1998, he already had a series regular role in Steven Spielberg’s "Earth 2." He soon landed a recurring role on "Good News," followed by a series regular role on "Radio Silence," and guest-starring roles on "Felicity," "The Practice," "The Pretenders," "Two Guys And A Girl" and "G vs. E," among others.
Dunbar has also performed lead roles in the independent feature film "Love The Way," which premieres in June 2000 at the Acapulco Film Festival, "Sick Puppies," "Misery Loves Company," and "Whodunit." He also starred opposite his SOUL FOOD series co-star Vanessa Williams in Edmonds Entertainment’s critically acclaimed "Punks," which recently premiered at the 2000 Sundance Film Festival.
Dunbar has also performed lead roles in numerous stage productions across the country including "Pterydactyls" and "Animal Crackers" at the Greer Garson Theater in New Mexico; "The Blue Vein Society" at the Baldwin Burroughs Theater, and "The Old Rugged Cross" at the Green Forest Theater, both in Georgia; and "Brother To Brother" and "Langston Hughes" at the Oakland Theater in California.
Dunbar is also currently completing his book of poetry and abstract drawings as well as putting the finishing touches on the pilot script for a television dramatic series, and planning to co-direct, with Tanika Ray, his first feature film.
